Regulatory Authority
PASCB is an autonomous accreditation board. The authority and oversight of PASCB are vested in its Governing Board. PASCB conducts assessments of Certification Bodies (CBs) and Inspection Bodies (IBs) seeking accreditation, based on PASCB’s criteria aligned with international standards and guidelines.
PASCB provides accreditation services with full adherence to international norms, ensuring customer satisfaction through a transparent, fair, and confidential process. We are committed to offering equal opportunities to all applicants, regardless of location or background.
PASCB grants accreditation to legally established CBs/IBs globally. Relevant offices or locations of the CBs/IBs in other countries may also be included in the scope of accreditation.

Governing Board
The highest authority responsible for the overall direction, strategic decisions, and regulatory compliance of PASCB.
Impartiality Committee
A dedicated committee ensuring that all accreditation activities are conducted without bias, conflict of interest, or undue influence. This committee safeguards PASCB’s independence and integrity.
Technical Advisory Committee
This committee provides expert guidance on technical issues, sector-specific requirements, and interpretation of standards. It supports PASCB in maintaining technical accuracy and consistency across accreditations.
Accreditation Approval Committee
Formed on a case-by-case basis, this committee is responsible for reviewing and approving the final accreditation decisions. Information about the committee is made available to the Certification or Inspection Body whose application is being processed.
